These figures are ranges, not promises. Flowering time, harvest date and yield vary depending on growing conditions: the grower, the method and the season's weather. "Mold resistant" means mold tolerant: less prone to mold and slower to be affected. No strain is 100% mold resistant. How we set these numbers →

About Crush Kush
Genetics & strain profile
Crush Kush is one of our QCS Originals, a mostly indica strain bred by Quebec Cannabis Seeds with 21 to 25% THC, dense, resin-rich buds and a compact structure. The name is a nod to the soda: grower after grower describes the smell as grape or orange Crush. Five reviews average 4.6 out of 5, and most of them come from people who got it as a free seed and were surprised. One tested his harvest on a store THC kit and read “just over the max of the kit, 24%”, calling it the best thing he had grown; another describes “blueberry-sized flowers absolutely caked in trichomes” on fat, chunky colas, with the tops turning purple. The one three-star review is honest and worth a note: a grower in 2023 saw mutations on his seedlings in the third week of veg — we have no other reports of that, and our seeds are guaranteed, so contact us if a pack misbehaves.
How Crush Kush grows
Crush Kush flowers in just 50 to 60 days and typically gives 650 to 750 g/m² indoors — one of the best yield-to-time ratios in our catalogue. The plants stay compact with strong side branches, and the buds stack into heavy, layered colas; because they are so dense and so resinous, keep humidity moderate and airflow strong in the last three weeks. It feeds normally and takes topping and a net well. Outdoors, expect to harvest around early October with up to 2,000 g per plant in optimal conditions — a full-season plant in good soil and full sun; a smaller pot gives a smaller plant. Early October suits most of southern Canada, and with cool nights late in flower the tops colour purple. A reasonable pH for soil is 6.2 to 6.8; in coco or hydro, 5.8 to 6.2.
Taste, aroma and effect
Earthy, herbal and woody with subtle hints of sweetness on paper — and, in the jar, grape soda and orange Crush with a faint skunk-and-fuel edge, according to the growers who have run it. The effect is relaxing: a calm, heavy indica high that suits the end of the day. At 21 to 25% THC it is strong, so start small. For other compact, fast indicas bred here, see Quebec Black Bud and Big Jack; for a Kush with grape notes, Purple Kush.

I'm still a week or two from chop, but she smells exactly like grape soda/popsicles, with a faint hint of skunk/fuel. buds are all heavily stacked and layered with blueberry-sized flowers that are absolutely caked in trichomes, and colas are fat and chunky. Sugar leaves are broad, caked in trichomes and resin. The flowers at the top turned purple in mid-flower even before they started swelling. This is a pretty cool strain. Very photogenic. Tent smells like someone cracked open a grape soda.

Description of plant isn’t wrong as I’m 5th week of flowering but the only bad thing is I’ve done nothing wrong and all the seeds I’ve germinated have had mutations going into 3 rd week of veg neither does the company mention the proper ph so I’m not really sure even though she’s from the Crush Kush it may not be the same ph, coming as someone who hasn’t been successful with the 6 seeds of my 10 ct and I sprouted the last 4 with 2 mutated plants, 1 hermi, and 1 flowering plant
