What is Biscotti Skunk?

We created Biscotti Skunk here in Quebec by crossing Biscotti, Kush and Skunk genetics: Biscotti × Kush × Skunk. It is a 70% indica, 30% sativa hybrid with 21 to 24% THC and low CBD, and it comes only from Quebec Cannabis Seeds.

Searching for the “Biscotti strain”? Biscotti on its own is a separate strain, and you can find it here too: Biscotti feminized seeds. Biscotti Skunk is a different plant — our own cross that brings Biscotti together with Kush and Skunk.

Smell and flavour: earthy, spicy and skunky

Biscotti Skunk has an earthy, spicy aroma from the Skunk side, with the aromatic sweetness of Biscotti. One grower on GrowDiaries described a spicy, cookie-like aroma and a smooth smoke with a touch of pepper.

Appearance: dark, purple-leaning plants

Growers describe dark, purple-toned plants with long, hard buds, as in the photo below. One outdoor grower told us the purple really stands out on their plant.

Biscotti Skunk effects

The high is euphoric and creative at first, then relaxing in the body. As always, how a strain feels depends on the person, the dose and how it was grown.

How strong is Biscotti Skunk? THC content

Biscotti Skunk delivers 21 to 24% THC with low CBD, depending on the growing conditions. If you are new to it, start low.

Growing Biscotti Skunk: flowering time and yield

Biscotti Skunk is a vigorous plant. Indoors it stays compact and manageable, flowers in 8 to 9 weeks and yields up to 500 g/m². Outdoors it is a big yielder: it finishes in late September to early October, with up to 700 g per plant under optimal conditions. Keep an eye on humidity — no strain is ever fully mould resistant, so in a wet autumn keep airflow good and check the flowers regularly.

What growers report on GrowDiaries

We would rather show you the whole picture, so here is what real growers have posted on GrowDiaries. At the time of writing, 7 grow diaries are listed for Biscotti Skunk, 4 of them harvested, averaging about 66 g per plant in those indoor grows. One grower harvested at day 58 of flowering and weighed 122 g from a single plant. Another reported long, hard buds and a dark, purple plant.

Not every diary was smooth. One grower scored it hard to grow and weak to disease, and another saw bananas (nanners) from a stressed plant. One customer also reported spider mites on an outdoor plant. The lesson: Biscotti Skunk dislikes stress, so keep light, temperature and watering steady, inspect early and often, and don’t push it. That is why we recommend it for growers with some experience. Others have loved it — one customer told us it was the most popular of the four strains they tried in a year.

If you want a vigorous, compact hybrid with 21 to 24% THC, an earthy, spicy aroma, and a big outdoor yield that finishes in early fall, Biscotti Skunk is a strong choice. It is one of our featured strains — and it was bred right here, by us.
