These figures are ranges, not promises. Flowering time, harvest date and yield vary depending on growing conditions: the grower, the method and the season's weather. "Mold resistant" means mold tolerant: less prone to mold and slower to be affected. No strain is 100% mold resistant. How we set these numbers →

About CBD Sour Kush
Genetics & strain profile
CBD Sour Kush is a balanced CBD strain that combines Sour Diesel, OG Kush and Cannatonic. It is a sativa-dominant hybrid with equal THC and CBD, 11% each, and the page describes it as easy to grow for novice and experienced growers alike, which is why it carries our beginner-friendly badge. It has no reviews yet, so everything here comes from the breeder’s description and not from customer grows, and we will not claim results beyond that. A 1:1 ratio of CBD to THC is a good fit for growers who want a more moderate plant than the high-THC strains in our catalog, and we cannot promise any effect. Our seeds are guaranteed, so if a seed does not come up, contact us.
How CBD Sour Kush grows
This is a photoperiod strain, so it flowers when you move to 12/12 indoors or as the days shorten outdoors. Indoors it flowers in 10 to 11 weeks, a little longer than many indica-leaning plants, and gives up to 450 g/m². Outdoors it typically finishes in late September to early October with up to 550 g per plant depending on conditions, so in Quebec and Ontario start indoors in April, plant out after the last frost and watch the autumn rain. With a sativa-dominant plant, leave headroom in a tent, top early and train the branches wide. A cover or greenhouse for the last weeks helps an October finish, and thinning the inside of the plant and keeping air moving protects the flowers from moisture. A light hand with nutrients is the safer path for a first grow. Check your local rules for CBD-rich plants before you plant.
Taste, aroma and effect
Wood, earth and pine, with fresh citrus. The high is described as moderate and functional: relaxed and focused, which suits both day and evening. Because THC is balanced by CBD, it is a gentler option than a high-THC sativa, though effects vary from person to person. The sour, pine and citrus smell is strong enough that odour control is worth planning for indoors. For other balanced CBD strains from us, see CBD OG Kush, CBD SSKush and CBD Harlequin.
