These figures are ranges, not promises. Flowering time, harvest date and yield vary depending on growing conditions: the grower, the method and the season's weather. "Mold resistant" means mold tolerant: less prone to mold and slower to be affected. No strain is 100% mold resistant. How we set these numbers →

About Lemon OG Kush

Genetics & strain profile

Lemon OG Kush is one of our QCS Originals, bred by Quebec Cannabis Seeds from Skunk and OG Kush. On paper it is a 60% indica, 40% sativa hybrid with 22% THC, rated moderately easy and in our beginner-friendly selection. The name tells you what to expect: a loud, zesty lemon on top of the familiar OG earthiness. The reviews are few but strong — 4.8 out of 5 — and come from growers who received it as a bonus seed and then came back for more. One East Coast customer called it “some of the best smoke you can get to grow on the East coast”, and another, who had tried dozens of our strains, ranked it the best of them.

How Lemon OG Kush grows

Indoors it flowers in 8 to 9 weeks with dense buds and up to 550 g/m². Outdoors it is typically ready in October with up to 550 g per plant, and it resists many common pests and diseases, which keeps it low-maintenance. One honest note from a Quebec border grower: his three freebies all germinated, went outside on 1 June, were over 8 feet tall by mid-September and headed for an early-October harvest — but he found the plants more sativa in structure than the 60/40 label suggests. Expect a tall, stretchy phenotype outdoors and leave room for it, or top it in early summer to keep it manageable. A French-speaking reviewer saw 100% germination and plants that looked “exactly like the photo”, with a strong lemon smell throughout the grow.

Taste, aroma and effect

Bright, zesty lemon leads, with earthy and skunky notes underneath and, for one grower, a faint herbal edge and a little purple in some buds. The effect is uplifting and euphoric in the head with a relaxing body, a classic OG balance that works from late afternoon on. At 22% THC it is strong without being overwhelming. If you want the same citrus family with more sativa energy, look at Green Crack; for a heavier OG, Godfather OG.

I was given 3 of these seeds and all germinated.after 10 days I planted outside June 1,2023. The plants over 8 feet tall and are in the 5th week of flowering today September14,2023. I expect to harvest them in the first week of October. They are beautiful but not as described, more sativa than described.65% sativa I would assess .Quebec on the border of Vermont

This one is the best among the dozens of varieties I bought here. It has sugar, a little bit of oil, some are a little bit purple, but most of them are still green, with a faint herbal flavor but not what I think Diesel smell
