These figures are ranges, not promises. Flowering time, harvest date and yield vary depending on growing conditions: the grower, the method and the season's weather. "Mold resistant" means mold tolerant: less prone to mold and slower to be affected. No strain is 100% mold resistant. How we set these numbers →

About CBD Black Gold
Genetics & strain profile
CBD Black Gold Autoflower is a feminized autoflowering strain bred by Quebec Cannabis Seeds from mostly indica genetics. It has a balanced 10% THC and 10% CBD, and it carries our compact, balcony-friendly badge. It has two reviews averaging 4 out of 5, and they show two sides. A five-star grower planted 5 CBD Black Gold and 3 CBD Painkiller directly in an organic seedling mix and all eight popped. A three-star grower got a mix of phenotypes from five seeds, three purple and two green, with different terpenes between the two groups, shorter plants with fatter buds among the greens, and flowers that were not dense. The same reviewer reports that some plants turned hermaphrodite near the end of flowering and that 5 to 10 seeds turned up among them all. That is a real caution for anyone planning to save a clean harvest. Our seeds are guaranteed, so if a seed does not come up, contact us.
How CBD Black Gold Autoflower grows
As an autoflower, it flowers on its own schedule without a change in light hours, so you can run it under the same long-day light from start to finish. The plant reaches a moderate 70 to 110 cm, which suits small spaces, and the page calls it resilient. It flowers in 8 to 10 weeks and the page quotes up to 14 ounces per plant; treat that as a best case in a large container, since the reviewers describe more modest plants. Outdoors, harvest comes in late August. Sow straight into the final pot, because autos dislike being transplanted, and keep the medium steady, around 22 to 25 °C. The hermaphrodite report is a reminder to avoid stress late in flower: keep temperature and light steady and check the plants weekly for pollen sacs. Check your local rules for CBD-rich plants before you plant.
Taste, aroma and effect
Earthy, peppery and spicy, with woody undertones. With equal THC and CBD, the effect is described as gentle and relaxing, and a 1:1 ratio is a good fit for growers who want a more moderate plant, though effects vary from person to person. For related CBD-rich plants, see CBD Painkiller XL Autoflower, CBD OG Kush and CBD SSKush.

There are a few phenotype out of 5 I got 3 purple, 2 green, and the greens had different terps than the purple. The purples were dark purple buds & leaves, green stem. Greens were shorter with fatter buds.
Some turned hermaphrodite near the end of flowering. I got 5-10 seeds among them all. Flowers were not dense but enough for something grown on my deck in a pot with about 60-70% direct sun. Production seems average for an auto. Unique terp profile pungent, deep kind of gassy and very spicy a bit floral. If you chew on the stems it's like a hot pepper. Good choice if you like spicy strains
The buzz - Very relaxing functionality buzz. I could vape a good bit and feel just slightly high but mostly relaxed and clear headed. Great functionality medicinal strain. EXCEPT I think the description of the CBD:THC may be off. To me the effects feel like CBD dominant. Maybe 2:1 CBD : THC
