These figures are ranges, not promises. Flowering time, harvest date and yield vary depending on growing conditions: the grower, the method and the season's weather. "Mold resistant" means mold tolerant: less prone to mold and slower to be affected. No strain is 100% mold resistant. How we set these numbers →

About Dosido x Afghani Skunk
Genetics & strain profile
Dosido x Afghani Skunk is one of our own crosses, bred here in Quebec: Dosido — the Girl Scout Cookies × Face Off OG dessert strain — brings the sweet, earthy aroma and the relaxing side, and Afghani Skunk adds resilience and yield. It is indica dominant with 24% THC and low CBD, it carries our beginner-friendly badge, and nine reviews average 4.6 out of 5. Two growers call it the best strain they have grown: “top 5 I’ve grown to date, smells just like grape Kool-Aid, dealt well with problems, good for SCROG, cool colours, lots of trichomes”, and a Quebec grower reports an “incredibly punchy aroma, incredibly resinous — should be perfect for extraction”. Several report all seeds up; one had four of five. The honest note comes from a grower on BC’s south coast whose outdoor plants showed no pistils by the end of August and worried him — they finished on October 19, “very sticky with little mould”. It is a mid-October finisher outdoors; plan for that. Our seeds are guaranteed.
How Dosido x Afghani Skunk grows
It grows to a medium height, bushy, with sturdy branches that hold the dense, resinous buds — one grower counted 15 tops at the same height after training, a SCROG natural, though reviewers note it stretches a little at the start of flower. Flowering takes 8 to 9 weeks with 450 to 600 g/m² indoors; one grower found the trichomes mostly cloudy by week six, so check them from then on rather than waiting on the calendar. Watch the humidity during flowering and keep the air moving, because buds this dense will mould if the air stands still. It deals well with problems — a grower who “made a lot of mistakes” still got a magnificent plant — which is why it carries the beginner badge. Outdoors it is typically ready in mid-October with 550 to 700 g per plant depending on growing conditions, a window that suits southern Quebec, Ontario, the Maritimes and coastal BC in a normal year; further north, start it early indoors or use a greenhouse.
Taste, aroma and effect
Sweet and earthy with floral and citrus hints, plus a skunky note from the Afghani Skunk side — and a grape, Kool-Aid sweetness that more than one reviewer picks out, on buds one grower calls “very, very sticky”. The effect is a mental buzz with relaxation and a mild euphoria: a happy, clear start that settles into a calm body without the knock-out of a pure indica, an afternoon-into-evening strain. At 24% THC it is strong, so start small. For the Dosido side, see Do Si Dos Autoflower and Girl Scout Cookies; for the skunk side, Quebec Super Skunk; for another grape-scented strain bred here, Grape Skunk.

I have a girl that’s in its 6th week of flower, it has an amazing canopy wit at least 15 beautiful tops all at the same height which is only an inch below the main stem. At week six the tricombs ( the soldiers) are mostly clouded up. I was wondering if it’s unusual for it to be ready for harvest before eight weeks? Mind you there’s been no light pollution, as it’s grown in a 2X2 tent with good ventilation and 2 sf1000 led lights.
