About the Feminized Mix Pack

The Feminized Mix Pack is for the grower who cannot decide — or who wants to find out which of our strains likes their garden best. It is a random mix of our feminized strains, classics and our own QCS breeds together, in packs of 5, 10 or 20 seeds: sativas, indicas and hybrids, all feminized, all from the same catalogue as the single-strain packs. It carries our harvest from September badge because the mix is drawn from strains that finish in a Canadian season. The seeds are not labelled individually; that is the trade-off for the price, and it is the one thing reviewers ask about — a three-star review says “it would be better if you identified the mystery seeds — we know we are getting a mix, but an idea of what they are would help”, while a five-star buyer “bought 5 seeds, received 8” and had “a very nice outdoor season, beautiful mixed plants and a very nice harvest”, and another has bought about 30 seeds from us and “all turned out great”. How a mixed pack grows

These are high-yielding feminized strains suited to indoor or outdoor growing, but the plants will vary in height and shape by variety — from tall, thin sativas to short, bushy indicas, with hybrids in between — and in flowering time, so grow a mix the way you would grow a test plot. Give each plant its own pot and label it by number; note when each one starts to flower and how it smells, because that is how you will work out what it is (our strain pages describe each one). Space them for the tallest, stake anything that stretches past three feet, and feed moderately, since a mix will include strains that burn easily. Outdoors, start indoors in April, put them out in early June, and expect harvests spread from mid-September into October; take each plant when its own trichomes cloud rather than all on one day. THC and CBD will range from moderate to high across the pack, so label your jars.

Taste, aroma and effect

A little of everything: the mix draws on the same strains as the rest of the catalogue, so expect the pine and skunk of the Northern Lights and Skunk lines, the citrus and fruit of the newer hybrids, and effects that run from mellow indicas to uplifting sativas. It is the cheapest way to find the one you will reorder by name.
