These figures are ranges, not promises. Flowering time, harvest date and yield vary depending on growing conditions: the grower, the method and the season's weather. "Mold resistant" means mold tolerant: less prone to mold and slower to be affected. No strain is 100% mold resistant. How we set these numbers →

About OG Kush Fast Version
Genetics & strain profile
OG Kush Fast Version is bred by Quebec Cannabis Seeds to keep the strong, fuel-and-pine effect of OG Kush on a clock that works in Canada: a mostly indica hybrid with 22% THC and a 6 to 7-week flowering time, with our bred by QCS and harvest from September badges. The regular OG Kush is one of our most reviewed strains, and its growers’ one recurring complaint is the October finish in a wet fall; this version exists to fix that. It does not yet have customer reviews of its own, so the figures below come from our own grows rather than from reviewers; if you grow it, a review helps the next person. Our seeds are guaranteed.
How OG Kush Fast Version grows
Indoors it flowers in 6 to 7 weeks with about 400 g/m² — one of the quickest photoperiod finishes in the catalogue — on a medium, bushy plant with the dense, golf-ball buds of an OG; top once and net it for an even canopy, feed moderately, and keep the air moving late in flower, because OG buds are tight and hold moisture. Outdoors, expect to harvest around September, which suits Canada and other northern climates, with about 500 g per plant depending on growing conditions. Fast Version plants carry a small share of autoflower genetics, which is how they finish earlier than classic photoperiod plants: most are ready in September and a few reach the first week of October. The date still depends on the grower and the season — weather, a late start and stress can all move it — and stress matters more with Fast Versions because of the autoflower gene they carry: keep transplanting, topping and nutrient changes gentle, and avoid light leaks. Start indoors in April and move out in late May for the earliest finish.
Taste, aroma and effect
Fuel, pine and lemon over damp earth — the OG Kush signature, pungent and sharp. The effect is strong, in the OG Kush style: a heavy, happy body relaxation with a euphoric start, an evening strain, and at 22% THC strong enough that newer users should start small. For the full-season original, see OG Kush; for a quicker OG, Double OG Kush Autoflower; for other early finishers, Gorilla Glue Fast Version and Northern Lights Fast Version; for a lemon OG, Lemon OG Kush.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does OG Kush Fast Version take to flower?
6 to 7 weeks. Outdoors it is typically ready in September.
How much does OG Kush Fast Version yield?
About 400 g/m² indoors and about 500 g per plant outdoors.
How strong is OG Kush Fast Version?
22% THC — strong, in the OG Kush style.
When does OG Kush Fast Version finish outdoors?
Usually September. Most Fast Versions are ready in September and none should run past the first week of October, but weather, a late start and stress can move the date.
What is a Fast Version cannabis seed?
A feminized strain with a small amount of autoflower genetics introduced so it finishes sooner than a classic photoperiod plant. Because it carries the autoflower gene, stress affects it more.
How is it different from the regular OG Kush?
Same flavour and effect, but it finishes in 6 to 7 weeks instead of 8 to 9 and in September instead of October outdoors.
Is OG Kush Fast Version easy to grow?
Yes, with the usual OG care: moderate feeding, airflow around the dense buds and low stress.
What does OG Kush Fast Version taste like?
Fuel, pine and lemon over damp earth.
