These figures are ranges, not promises. Flowering time, harvest date and yield vary depending on growing conditions: the grower, the method and the season's weather. "Mold resistant" means mold tolerant: less prone to mold and slower to be affected. No strain is 100% mold resistant. How we set these numbers →
Taste & Aroma Profile
The flavour is earthy and pine with a sharp, resinous edge — a French-speaking reviewer picked up a light camphor note and praised how resinous the buds were, and another simply called the smell “very strong”.
About Pure Power Plant (PPP)
Genetics & strain profile
Pure Power Plant — PPP to most growers — is an old-school strain from the 1990s Dutch scene, built from a South African sativa crossed with a US indica. It was famous for doing three things at once: growing fast, yielding heavily and staying easy. Our feminized version is bred by Quebec Cannabis Seeds and tests at 17 to 22% THC with a medium CBD content of 1 to 5%, which makes the high more rounded than the modern 25%+ strains. Customers who grew it decades ago keep coming back for it; one Quebec reviewer called it “an old-school genetic that is very hard to find” and one of the best he smoked when he was young. Eight reviews average 4.9 out of 5.
How Pure Power Plant grows
PPP is a sativa-leaning plant that grows to a medium height with a noticeable stretch in early flower — one grower noted three different phenotypes out of five seeds, all with big stretch and very large, sticky buds. Indoors it flowers in 8 to 10 weeks and gives up to 500 to 600 g/m². Outdoors it is one of the fastest photoperiod strains we sell for the Canadian season: expect harvest from late September to early October, with up to 600 g per plant. A 73-year-old grower in a northern region wrote that his PPP finished three weeks before his OG, and another harvested “2 lbs after curing” from his plant. It handles the paper-towel method well; reviewers report 100% germination across multiple orders.
Taste, aroma and effect
The flavour is earthy and pine with a sharp, resinous edge — a French-speaking reviewer picked up a light camphor note and praised how resinous the buds were, and another simply called the smell “very strong”. The effect is invigorating and well rounded: a clear, energetic sativa start softened by the indica side and the touch of CBD, so it does not race. It is a good daytime strain and a sensible choice for a first photoperiod grow. If you want the same early finish with more THC, look at Quebec Black Bud.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does Pure Power Plant take to flower?
8 to 10 weeks indoors. Outdoors it is typically ready between late September and early October — one grower’s plants finished three weeks before his OG.
How much does Pure Power Plant yield?
Up to 500 to 600 g/m² indoors and up to 600 g per plant outdoors. One reviewer reported 2 lbs cured from a single outdoor plant.
How strong is Pure Power Plant?
17 to 22% THC with 1 to 5% CBD. The CBD rounds out the high, so it feels balanced rather than racy.
Is PPP indica or sativa?
Sativa-dominant, from a South African sativa crossed with a US indica. It stretches in early flower and grows to a medium height.
Is Pure Power Plant easy to grow?
Yes. It is fast, resilient and forgiving, and reviewers report 100% germination across several orders.
What are the parents of Pure Power Plant?
A South African sativa and a US indica, a 1990s Dutch classic that Quebec Cannabis Seeds now breeds in feminized form.
Does PPP finish early enough for Canada?
Yes. Late September to early October outdoors makes it one of the safer photoperiod strains for Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes.
How many seeds are in a pack?
5 feminized seeds per pack, shipped from Quebec across Canada and the USA.

Wow, power plant got one very strong smell, love it, and I started it very early, it’s been longer than eight weeks, but because I put them outside, they might are longer, for first time ever with this seed bank two seeds died, but the three that are almost finished are truly amazing plants..
The death of the seeds were my fault to much on the grow, “GO”…
Definitely a plant to try,

Fast shipping! Excellent so far! 100% germination using paper towel method, now few inches tall, cannot wait until it is warm enough to put them outdoors for the summer. I germinated one of the bonus seeds too Blue God germinated same time as the PPP. I will leave another review once it is smokable in a few months .
Cool! Love Quebec even more now.
Thanks!
