These figures are ranges, not promises. Flowering time, harvest date and yield vary depending on growing conditions: the grower, the method and the season's weather. "Mold resistant" means mold tolerant: less prone to mold and slower to be affected. No strain is 100% mold resistant. How we set these numbers →

About Quebec Strawberry Purp
Genetics & strain profile
Quebec Strawberry Purp is a feminized strain bred by Quebec Cannabis Seeds from a cross of Quebec Strawberry Cough and Red Purp, a vigorous F1. It is a 50/50 hybrid at about 24% THC, and the page describes it as easy to grow and suited to indoor, greenhouse and outdoor gardens. It has five reviews, all five stars. Growers call it balanced and easy, praise its “big buds” and a “nice buzz”, and report hard nugs and a good response to topping from a small DWC setup. One of them grew it outside in a greenhouse at 47°N, and another had a high yield in a greenhouse but met some spider mites on the lower branches, which ladybugs and a fan helped to control. Our seeds are guaranteed, so if a seed does not come up, contact us.
How Quebec Strawberry Purp grows
Indoors the plant flowers in 8 to 9 weeks and can give about 450 g/m². Outdoors it is ready in October and can give about 550 g per plant, so in Quebec and Ontario start indoors in April, plant out after the last frost and use a greenhouse or a cover for the last weeks, as the reviewers did. The spider-mite report is a useful warning: check the undersides of the lower leaves every few days, keep air moving and remove the lowest branches that get little light. Because the F1 is vigorous, topping early and training the branches spreads the light and builds the even canopy that the DWC grower got. Strong, resinous flowers also hold moisture, so thin the interior and harvest on a dry day.
Taste, aroma and effect
A loud strawberry aroma and flavour, with the resin that the reviewers describe as hard, heavy nugs. At 24% THC it is very potent, and the page describes a psychedelic high; newer consumers should start with a small amount and wait before taking more. The loud strawberry smell is also a practical point: it is strong enough to need carbon filtration indoors and a thought for the neighbours outdoors. For the parent, see Strawberry Cough; for another strawberry cross, Strawberry Lights.

Great flavor, nice balanced hybrid, easy to grow!

Turned out very nice in the greenhouse, high yield and pretty buds. Smell and effect same as mentioned above for indo. Some spiders mites on lower branches but most of the plant was good…lady bugs and fan may have helped, so slightly enticing strain for those fuckers. All and all great strain which i’d grow again.

Grown in a small DWC set-up. Hard nugs, good plant structure and vigorous growth. Beautiful, fruit bad-breathy smell, potent and uplifting high. Now growing outside at47 N. in greenhouse, responding very well to topping, again vigorous growth.
