These figures are ranges, not promises. Flowering time, harvest date and yield vary depending on growing conditions: the grower, the method and the season's weather. "Mold resistant" means mold tolerant: less prone to mold and slower to be affected. No strain is 100% mold resistant. How we set these numbers →

About Roji OGS

Genetics & strain profile

Roji OGS is one of our own crosses, bred here in Quebec from Nepali OG, Snow Lotus and Grape Skunk — the “OGS” is the three parents. It is a 60% sativa, 40% indica hybrid with 21 to 24% THC, rated easy to grow and included in our beginner and featured selections. It has quietly become one of the strains our customers rave about most: seven reviews averaging 4.7 out of 5, with comments like “the chart topper for sure, will be my first pick next year” from a grower who ran five strains, “my top quality outdoor flower of 2025”, and, from a Quebec grower, “one of the best genetics I have grown so far” with big, compact purple buds. A YouTube grower praised trichome density “off the chart” across most phenotypes.

How Roji OGS grows

Indoors Roji OGS reaches a medium height and flowers in 60 to 65 days, with up to 400 g/m². Outdoors it is typically ready in late September to early October with up to 600 g per plant, an early finish that suits Canada and other northern climates. Growers find it easy to trim and consistent, but there is one thing to know: two reviewers saw some plants throw male flowers (nanners) around day 30 of flower, in one case about one plant in five, and one found a few seeds in otherwise excellent buds. Hermaphrodite traits can appear under stress — a spider-mite problem, light leaks, heat — so keep the environment stable, avoid heavy training once flowering starts, and check the lower branches around week 4 and 5. Most growers never see it, and the same reviewer who reported it still called the flower the best of his season.

Taste, aroma and effect

Tropical fruit, berry, cherry and strawberry — “tastes like strawberry”, in one customer’s words — on a sweet, grape-skunk base. The effect is cerebral and mood-lifting at first, then relaxing, a balanced curve that works for afternoons and evenings without putting you to sleep. At 21 to 24% THC it is strong but smooth. For other fruit-forward strains bred here, see Quebec Black Bud and Quebec Blue.

I also found some seeds in plants. No nanners. Might be just prone to asexual or hermaphrodite traits when stressed. Was definitely my top quality outdoor flower of 2025

I might be unlucky but about 20% of my Rogi plants threw out nanners around day 30 of flower. Unfortunately produced a few thousand seeds. I thought I might have caused it due to a minor spider mites infestation.

Many months later, I did a second run with a perfectly dialed environment. Nanners on day 30 again on 1 of the 6 plants.

I really like the taste and smell of the strain. The potentency is pretty high as well. I would 100% grow this again if i can be sure of the stability. For those thinking of buying, hopefully the genetics are more stable now or it was just bad luck.

Side note: the free seeds SS Kush i received did not pop at all so that was also unfortunate.

Every other order I've received from OGS produced great results and I'd still consider giving them another shot. Happy growing!
