These figures are ranges, not promises. Flowering time, harvest date and yield vary depending on growing conditions: the grower, the method and the season's weather. "Mold resistant" means mold tolerant: less prone to mold and slower to be affected. No strain is 100% mold resistant. How we set these numbers →

About QC Strawberry Lights
Genetics & strain profile
QC Strawberry Lights is one of our own crosses: our QC Strawberry Cough bred with Northern Lights, the bright strawberry sativa on the frame of the most reliable indica in the world. It is an evenly balanced hybrid with 20 to 25% THC and low CBD, and it sits in our Featured Strains and QCS Originals selections. It is a newer listing, and the first reports are good: a grower who received it as a free seed had every seed pop with vigorous growth, an early standout at six weeks of flower with a strong stem, tight nodes and dense colas, and “she didn’t stretch too much” even after topping twice. His harvest review followed: “great yield”, an effect that is “uplifting but sedative”, and a “very smooth puff” once fully cured. “Would grow again for sure.” We will add more grower reports as they come in.
How QC Strawberry Lights grows
Indoors the plants reach 76 to 152 cm and flower in about 55 to 65 days with around 400 g/m²; the Northern Lights side keeps the structure compact and the internodes tight, so a single topping and a net are all it needs. The colas are dense, so keep airflow up in the final weeks. Outdoors they grow to 152 to 203 cm and are typically ready in early to mid-October, with about 550 g per plant under solid conditions — a window that suits southern Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes in a normal year. Further north, start it early indoors or use a greenhouse. Germination and vigour reports so far are excellent.
Taste, aroma and effect
Bright and berry-forward from its Strawberry Cough side, with the sweet, piney earthiness of Northern Lights on the finish, and a smooth smoke that reviewers mention. The effect is lifted yet relaxed: focused, happy and creative at first, then calm — “uplifting but sedative”, as one grower put it — which suits the afternoon and evening. At 20 to 25% THC it is strong. For the parents, see Strawberry Cough and Northern Lights; for the berry side of the family, Blueberry Cough.
