These figures are ranges, not promises. Flowering time, harvest date and yield vary depending on growing conditions: the grower, the method and the season's weather. "Mold resistant" means mold tolerant: less prone to mold and slower to be affected. No strain is 100% mold resistant. How we set these numbers →

About CBD Candida
Genetics & strain profile
CBD Candida is bred by Quebec Cannabis Seeds from AC/DC and Harlequin — the two strains that defined high-CBD cannabis — and it is one of the highest-CBD, lowest-THC strains we sell: 10.6 to 20.6% CBD with only 0.3 to 0.9% THC, a ratio of roughly 20 to 1 at the top of the range. It is a mostly indica strain, easy to grow, and in our beginner-friendly selection; at under 1% THC its flower is non-intoxicating, which also makes it a practical choice for a balcony or a garden that neighbours can see. It is a newer listing with no customer reviews yet, so the figures below come from our own grows; we will add grower reports as they come in. If you want CBD without any high, this and CBD AC/DC are the two to look at.
How CBD Candida grows
The plant reaches a medium height with the sturdy, branchy structure of its Harlequin parent and grows like any photoperiod strain: 18 hours of light in veg, 12 in flower, moderate feeding — CBD strains are not heavy feeders and burn on strong nutrients. Indoors it flowers in 8 to 10 weeks with up to 400 g/m²; the buds are medium-dense, which keeps mould risk reasonable, but keep the air moving in the last two weeks all the same. Outdoors it is typically ready in October with up to 600 g per plant depending on conditions, which suits southern Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes in a normal year; further north, start it early indoors or use a greenhouse. Harvest when the trichomes are cloudy rather than amber: CBD strains are best taken on the earlier side to keep the THC fraction as low as it can be.
Taste, aroma and effect
Sweet lemon and citrus with earthy and floral notes — the AC/DC heritage shows in the lemon, Harlequin in the soft, sweet finish. With so little THC, the effect is calm and relaxing without a psychoactive high: no fog, no couch-lock, just the settled, clear-headed feeling people grow CBD flower for, whether for daytime use, for stress or for pain. For our other CBD strains, see the CBD seeds selection — CBD Charlotte’s Web and Quebec CBD 20-1 among them; to try four at once, the CBD Mix Pack.
