These figures are ranges, not promises. Flowering time, harvest date and yield vary depending on growing conditions: the grower, the method and the season's weather. "Mold resistant" means mold tolerant: less prone to mold and slower to be affected. No strain is 100% mold resistant. How we set these numbers →
Taste & Aroma Profile

A classic diesel — oily, gassy and pungent — with, in the reviewer’s words, “a funky tropical fruit front” and a little spice behind it; strong enough that the smell carries, so plan for a filter indoors.
About Diesel
Genetics & strain profile
Diesel Autoflower is a cross of Mexican Sativa and Afghan genetics with the ruderalis gene that lets it flower on its own clock: a 60% sativa, 40% indica autoflower with about 24% THC and low CBD. It carries our beginner-friendly badge because it does not need a light schedule, stays a manageable height and forgives mistakes. Its two reviews average 4.5 out of 5, and the five-star one is the most detailed description of this strain we have: “excellent sativa auto, can get up to half a pound per plant in 10 weeks… oily gassy background with a funky tropical fruit front and a little spice to keep it lingering… long pointed classic sativa bright lime buds with bright orange hairs… very potent”. The four-star review says “the Diesel is fine” and docks a star because the free seeds that came with the order did not grow — all planted straight into the medium. Free or paid, seeds that do not germinate are covered by our guarantee; contact us.
How Diesel Autoflower grows
Because it is an autoflower, it flowers on its own schedule without a change in light hours: about 7 weeks of flowering, roughly 10 weeks from seed in the reviewer’s grow. It keeps a medium height, which suits smaller grow spaces and a 20-litre pot on a balcony, and grows the long, pointed buds of a classic sativa rather than the tight nuggets of an indica. We list up to 150 g per plant; the reviewer above got half a pound (about 225 g) from his, so the figure is a floor for a good grower, not a ceiling. Plant it in its final pot, keep the light on 18 to 20 hours, feed at half strength and keep training to the low-stress kind. One useful warning from the same grower: it will foxtail in a lot of heat — 35 °C and up outdoors — so give it shade in a heat wave. Started in May it finishes in high summer, well ahead of autumn mould and pests.
Taste, aroma and effect
A classic diesel — oily, gassy and pungent — with, in the reviewer’s words, “a funky tropical fruit front” and a little spice behind it; strong enough that the smell carries, so plan for a filter indoors. The effect is a strong high that is both uplifting and relaxing: sativa-led and bright at first, with a calming Afghan side that keeps it from racing, and “very potent” at about 24% THC, so start small. For the photoperiod version, see Diesel, or NYC Diesel; for other sativa autoflowers, Amnesia Autoflower and Critical Autoflower.

I ordered the Diesel auto and picked Jack Herer as my free seeds. I planted all my seeds directly into my medium. The Diesel is fine. None of my free seeds will grow. Smh

excellent sativa auto, can get up to half a pound per plant in 10 weeks, taste/smell is as the description oily gassy background with a funky tropical fruit front and a little spice to keep it lingering, grows long pointed classic sativa bright lime buds with bright orange hairs, will foxtail with a lot of heat (35c+ outdoor), very potent, highly energetic more like an 80/20 sativa, better than any cup of coffee but not for the beginner, easy to grow and resistant to most pests, highly recommend
