It carries 21 to 24% THC and 0.8% CBD, and it brings a rare combination: a sativa high with a Skunk’s short flowering time and big yields, which is why it carries our September harvest badge. Island Sweet Skunk flowers in 50 to 63 days — fast for a sativa — with up to 600 g/m² indoors, and the plants are resilient, with the vigour and forgiveness Skunk #1 is known for. It grows tall and branchy, so top it once in veg and use a net to spread the long, thick colas; the buds are less dense than an indica’s, which helps them dry evenly and resist mould. Outdoors it is ready from late September to mid-October with over 1,000 g per plant in optimal conditions — a full-season plant in good soil and full sun can get very large, so give it room. That harvest window suits most of southern Canada; it is one of the few sativa-leaning strains that finishes reliably here. It is a loud plant in flower, so plan for odour control indoors.
