These figures are ranges, not promises. Flowering time, harvest date and yield vary depending on growing conditions: the grower, the method and the season's weather. "Mold resistant" means mold tolerant: less prone to mold and slower to be affected. No strain is 100% mold resistant. How we set these numbers →

About Peanut Butter Breath
Genetics & strain profile
Peanut Butter Breath is a balanced hybrid bred by Quebec Cannabis Seeds, with THC that can reach up to 28% — it sits in our featured strains for a reason. The name comes from its unusual flavour: earthy and nutty, with a sweet, roasted note that many people compare to peanut butter. The reviews are honest and worth reading, with three growers averaging 3.7 out of 5. All three agree it is a strong, heavy-producing plant; where they differ is the flavour and the resin. One Quebec grower harvested about 500 g per outdoor plant in a poor, smoky summer and called it “really beautiful weed”, very relaxing, but found the nut flavour did not come through; another got piney lemon instead. If you grow it for pressing rosin, note that two reviewers found it did not press well.
How Peanut Butter Breath grows
The plants grow to a medium height with a strong, branchy frame — “grows strong” with a “crazy amount of pistils”, as one reviewer put it. It flowers in 9 to 10 weeks and gives up to 450 g/m² indoors; one grower said it “can easily pack out a 4×4” tent. Outdoors is where it is best: expect to harvest around mid to late October with up to 550 g per plant in optimal conditions, and a reviewer reported big fat colas and about 500 g dry even in a bad year. Because it finishes late, it suits gardens where the fall stays mild — southern Quebec and Ontario rather than the north — and a greenhouse helps elsewhere. Let the pistils fade fully before chopping and cure for several weeks; two growers found the terpenes pungent and harsh on the throat when the cure was short.
Taste, aroma and effect
Earthy and nutty with a sweet, roasted finish is the intended profile, and a dessert-like depth comes through after a long cure. Phenotypes vary: some lean piney and lemony instead, so give it time in the jar before judging. The effect is heavy and relaxing — “a good night time strain” in one grower’s words — with a euphoric start that settles into the body. At up to 28% THC it is one of the strongest strains we sell, so start small. For a nutty-dessert cousin that finishes earlier, see Do Si Dos; for a heavy indica with more reviews, Godfather OG.

Great producer, grows strong. Crazy amount of pistles. Little trichome amount and as a result, doesn't press well. A good night time strain. Be a better outdoor plant than indoor, but can easily pack out a 4x4 no problem. The lack of trichomes tells me you're better off planting outdoors and getting a huge yield. Big fat colas, but not to the point where you have to worry about mold. All in all, a good mid plant.

Piney, Lemon taste, not for me. Wait it to fade out before chopping. Cure longer to reduce the pungent terps. Did not press well.
