These figures are ranges, not promises. Flowering time, harvest date and yield vary depending on growing conditions: the grower, the method and the season's weather. "Mold resistant" means mold tolerant: less prone to mold and slower to be affected. No strain is 100% mold resistant. How we set these numbers →

About Quebec Cookies
Genetics & strain profile
Quebec Cookies is one of our own strains, bred here in Quebec: a 70% sativa, 30% indica hybrid with 19 to 25% THC that takes the Cookies family’s frost and flavour and puts it on a plant selected for our climate, with our mould-tolerant badge to show for it. Fourteen reviews average 4.6 out of 5, and they are unusually specific: a first-time grower’s “first real successful grow”, with purple hues from cold nights and “the frostiest buds I’ve grown to date”; a grower who ran it as a tester and found it “by far the best of what I ran all year”; another who grew it beside Amnesia Haze and had his SCROG “overflowing” on the second run; and one who, post-harvest, called it the best tasting, smelling and smoking cannabis he had ever grown. Several warn that it stinks — “if you have odour concerns, avoid it” — and one gave four stars because the plants were not pretty. The honest note: one 2022 reviewer got a single plant from five seeds, though it produced good flower. Our seeds are guaranteed.
How Quebec Cookies grows
Indoors it flowers in 8 to 9 weeks with 500 to 600 g/m² under good conditions, on a vigorous, branchy sativa-leaning frame that fills a net — a reviewer’s overflowing SCROG is the model — so top it once and plan the canopy. It is easy to moderate to grow and reviewers call it robust; one notes three different phenotypes from three seeds, so expect some variation in height and colour. Outdoors it is typically ready in late October with up to 750 g per plant depending on growing conditions. That is late for Canada, and it is the one thing to plan around: it suits gardens where fall stays mild, a greenhouse, or an early indoor start, and its tolerance of common pests and mould is what lets it stand in a wet October where other strains rot — though no strain is immune. Cold nights late in flower bring out the purple.
Taste, aroma and effect
Citrus and spice with a sweet finish, and a “sweet but funky” smell that carries — this is a loud plant, so plan for odour control indoors and give the neighbours some thought outdoors. The effect is on the sativa side: euphoric, giggly and uplifting, a daytime or early-evening strain that lifts the mood without pinning you down, and reviewers rate the buzz as highly as the flavour. At 19 to 25% THC it is strong, so start small. For other Cookies strains, see Girl Scout Cookies and Glookies; for other strains bred here for Quebec, Quebec Black Gold and Quebec Super Skunk.

My first real successful grow was two of these seeds. Sweet but funky aroma, lots of purple hues, helped by cold nights in flower. Frostiest buds I’ve grown to date. But I’m just getting started!

Only 1 out of 5 sprouted, so very unhappy with the product unlike all others I got from QCS in the past. However, the one that did sprout produced good quality plant and buds. I don';t usually write too many reviews but thought to mention.

Bought these as a tester just to verify quality and I ran 2, by far the BEST of what I ran all year and I was skeptical. Just getting to finish now and it's so beautiful, definetly wish I took some cuts before the flip.

I have to say I’m pretty damn happy with these seeds. Just 4 weeks into flower and the young buds are just stacked with trichomes right to the tips of the sugar leaves. Definitely going to be shopping here again.
