These figures are ranges, not promises. Flowering time, harvest date and yield vary depending on growing conditions: the grower, the method and the season's weather. "Mold resistant" means mold tolerant: less prone to mold and slower to be affected. No strain is 100% mold resistant. How we set these numbers →

About CBD Bubba Kush
Genetics & strain profile
CBD Bubba Kush crosses Bubba Kush Pre’98 — the heavy, coffee-and-chocolate indica of the Los Angeles scene — with a high-CBD strain, and keeps the Bubba body while turning the strength down: 8% THC and 10% CBD, a close to 1:1 ratio that stays manageable even for someone who finds modern strains too much. It is indica-dominant, with the squat, dense frame of its parent. It is a newer addition to the catalogue and does not yet have customer reviews, so the figures below come from our own grows rather than from reviewers; the other CBD strains in the catalogue, several with reviews, give a sense of what a 1:1 feels like. If you grow it, a review helps the next person. Our seeds are guaranteed.
How CBD Bubba Kush grows
It flowers in 55 to 60 days, which is fast for a Kush, and typically gives around 450 g/m² indoors on a short, bushy plant that suits a tent and a sea of green — the Bubba frame stays low and the buds are dense, so give it airflow and keep humidity under 50% in the last weeks. Outdoors the plants get large and can yield as much as 900 g each, depending on growing conditions — in the ground, in full sun, with a stake from August. Plan to harvest in mid-October, which is at the edge of the season in much of Quebec: a sheltered, south-facing spot and a frost cover for cold nights help, and the fast flower means it will usually be done before the hard freeze. Feed moderately — Kush strains are not heavy eaters — and watch for over-watering in a dense canopy. Soak seeds 12 to 24 hours and plant directly in warm, barely damp soil.
Taste, aroma and effect
Earthy, woody and sweet, with a touch of pine — the Bubba Kush coffee-and-earth base, lighter and cleaner than the original. The effect begins with a gentle wave of relaxation that spreads through the body, with a light lift rather than a heavy stone: at 8% THC balanced by 10% CBD, it is the version of Bubba Kush for an evening when you still want to think. For other balanced-CBD strains, see CBD White Widow and CBD Harlequin; for very low THC, CBD Charlotte’s Web and Quebec CBD 20:1; for the whole range, CBD cannabis seeds.
