About CBD White Widow
CBD White Widow is our CBD-rich version of White Widow, bred by Quebec Cannabis Seeds to keep the classic strain’s vigour, resin and earthy-pine flavour while bringing the THC down to a mild level. It tests at about 12% CBD and 10% THC, close to a 1:1 ratio, so the effect is clear-headed and functional rather than intoxicating. It is rated easy to grow and it is one of the few CBD strains that growers describe as tougher than their THC plants: one customer who ran it beside seeds from another supplier watched powdery mildew take everything in the room except the White Widow. Five reviews average 4.2 out of 5, with 100% germination for one grower and three out of five for another — contact us if a pack underperforms.
How CBD White Widow grows
The plants reach a medium height — about 1.5 metres for one Quebec grower — and stay compact enough for a greenhouse or a small garden. Indoors it flowers in about 8 weeks and gives up to 525 g/m² with proper care; topping and low-stress training even out the canopy. Outdoors it is typically ready in early October with up to 450 g per plant, and it is built for our climate: a Quebec customer started his indoors on 1 May, moved it out on 8 June and harvested on 15 November with no mould, calling it “very cold resistant, ideal for Quebec”. One reviewer found it slow to get going in veg, so give it a warm start. Its resistance to powdery mildew and cold makes it a good first outdoor plant.
Taste, aroma and effect
The flavour is earthy and piney on the inhale with a sweet, floral finish — pinene and myrcene lead the terpene profile — and the aroma fills a grow space without being harsh. The effect is a gentle, clear-headed calm: a light lift first, then an easy body relaxation. At 10% THC it is mild enough for daytime use, though the same Quebec grower noted it sent him to sleep a couple of hours after an evening session. It is a good choice if you want to grow your own CBD flower or blend it with a stronger strain to soften the THC. See also CBD Charlotte’s Web and CBD Harlequin.

Very resilient to powdery mildew.
I was flowering my fist group of cbd white widow plants when I started another group of seeds from a different seed distributor, along with my last cbd white widow seed.
Long story short, there was powdery mildew everywhere except for the white widow, then I tried the white widow for the first time once the first batch dried, and decided this will be the only plant I grow indoors from now on, after I get out the SanStar and ozone machine to eliminate any powdery mildew spores of course. Will be purchasing again ASAP.
