NYC Diesel is a sativa-dominant classic from the early 2000s, and our feminized version is bred by Quebec Cannabis Seeds from Afghani and Mexican Sativa. It reaches up to 24% THC and we rate the growing difficulty as moderate — it is a long-flowering sativa that asks for patience rather than skill. It belongs to the same Diesel family as Chemdawg and shares its loud, fuel-and-citrus aroma. How NYC Diesel grows
NYC Diesel flowers in 10 to 12 weeks indoors with up to 500 g/m². The Mexican Sativa side gives it a tall, open structure and a real stretch after the flip — flip early, top once in veg and use a net — while the Afghani side keeps the buds denser than a pure sativa. It prefers moderate feeding and a stable, warm room. Outdoors, expect to harvest around late October with up to 500 g per plant in optimal conditions. Because it finishes late, it suits gardens where the fall stays mild — southern Ontario and Quebec, or a greenhouse that can carry it through the first frosts. For most Canadian growers it is a better indoor strain, where the 10 to 12 weeks are easy to give it.
