These figures are ranges, not promises. Flowering time, harvest date and yield vary depending on growing conditions: the grower, the method and the season's weather. "Mold resistant" means mold tolerant: less prone to mold and slower to be affected. No strain is 100% mold resistant. How we set these numbers →

About Big Bud Fast Version
Genetics & strain profile
Big Bud Fast Version is bred by Quebec Cannabis Seeds from Afghani, Northern Lights and Skunk #1 — the classic Big Bud recipe, named for its oversized colas — with a small share of autoflower genetics added so it finishes weeks ahead of the regular strain. It is an indica-dominant hybrid with 19 to 23% THC, and it is easy to grow, which puts it in our beginner-friendly selection with a September harvest badge. Three reviews so far, all five stars: a Vermont grower harvested in the third week of September with “many of the buds as large as my arm from hand to elbow”; a first-time Quebec grower had one plant finish in 39 days of flower and two in 45, and says it forgave every mistake he made, from badly hydrated peat moss to a week at pH 5; an outdoor grower reports big plants and “heavenly” buds.
How Big Bud Fast Version grows
Indoors it stays small, up to 4 feet, and flowers in just 6 to 8 weeks — 39 to 45 days for the Quebec reviewer — which makes it one of the quickest photoperiod plants we sell. The colas get very heavy, so stake or net them. Outdoors it is typically ready in September, which suits Canada and other northern climates, with 700 to 750 g per plant depending on conditions; the short flowering time also means less exposure to mould and pests, a real advantage with buds this dense. A Fast Version still needs shorter days to flower — it is not an autoflower — but the autoflower gene it carries makes it finish early. Most of our Fast Versions are ready in September and none should run past the first week of October; because of that gene, stress can move the date, so give it steady water, light feeding and no transplant shocks in June and July.
Taste, aroma and effect
Earthy, fruity and pungent, with a spicy edge from the Skunk side and the sweet, hashy depth of Afghani and Northern Lights underneath. The effect opens with a cerebral lift and moves into a body high that deepens over time — an evening strain that starts pleasant and ends heavy. At 19 to 23% THC it is moderately strong. For the regular photoperiod version, see Big Bud; for its parents, Northern Lights and Quebec Super Skunk; for another Fast Version, Blueberry Fast Version.

Fantastic, here in Vermont harvested the third week of September. Many of the buds are as large as my arm from hand to elbow. Glad we switched seed vendors.

Belle genetique. Merci QCs .
