These figures are ranges, not promises. Flowering time, harvest date and yield vary depending on growing conditions: the grower, the method and the season's weather. "Mold resistant" means mold tolerant: less prone to mold and slower to be affected. No strain is 100% mold resistant. How we set these numbers →

About Blackberry
Genetics & strain profile
Blackberry Autoflower crosses Blackberry Kush with Ruderalis: an indica-dominant autoflower with 20% THC and low CBD that carries our beginner-friendly and mould tolerant badges and has two grower diaries on GrowDiaries. It has 12 reviews averaging 4.3 out of 5, and they are candid about two things: size and colour. The happy growers got “big sticky buds, a wonderful smell and a delight to smoke” and “dense nugs that came out perfect”, with 4 of 5 seeds up and 100% germination on a heat mat for another. But one indoor grower found 3 of his 4 plants “short and stubby — 2 feet — with giant fat colas” and only two turned purple, and a 2-star reviewer who bought it for the purple buds in the photo got all green plants under 15 inches and 3 ounces from three of them, next to a 35-inch free Mazar that gave 4 ounces alone. Read the growing section before you buy: this is a small, fast plant, and the purple is a phenotype and temperature thing, not a guarantee. Our seeds are guaranteed.
How Blackberry Autoflower grows
Because it is an autoflower, it flowers on its own schedule without a change in light hours, and flowers in 8 weeks — roughly 10 to 11 weeks from seed. The plant reaches 70 to 110 cm in good conditions, but reviewers report plenty of 2-foot plants and one batch under 15 inches, so expect the low end of that range unless the plant gets a strong start: start it in its final 3 to 5-gallon pot, give it 20 hours of light from day one, keep it warm, and do not transplant or top it. Yields are up to 350 g/m² indoors and 70 to 300 g per plant outdoors depending on care — one grower’s three plants gave 3 ounces total, which is the lower end of honest. It has a natural resistance to common pests and mould and handles a Canadian balcony well. The purple colour comes from the Blackberry Kush side and shows on some phenotypes when night temperatures drop in the last weeks; grown warm, many plants stay green. Taste, aroma and effect
Sweet berry, from its Blackberry Kush parent — ripe blackberry over a soft earthy Kush base, on buds reviewers call “big and sticky” with “a wonderful smell”. The effect is mainly relaxing, with a euphoric lift: a happy start that settles into a calm, heavy body, an evening strain, and at 20% THC a manageable one. For bigger autoflowers, see Devil XXL Autoflower, Critical Autoflower and AK-47 Autoflower; for purple colour on a full-season plant, Granddaddy Purple or Blackberry Runtz; for a berry autoflower with more size, Blue Dream Autoflower.

I bought this strain to get blackberry plants like the picture, but they are all green! Not only that, but they all were less than 15" tall. The yield was 3 oz dried for the 3 plants that grew. The free Mazar I received was 35" tall and had a dry (cured) yield of 4 ounces for 1 plant. A plant that finishes in 2 months is a waste of time and money! Decent to smoke though.

This grow came out great! 4 out of 5 germinated. All 4 grew well except for the fact that 3 out of 4 grew only grew 2 feet high .They were short and stubby but with giant fat colas throughout. The one tall 1 grew to 4 1/2 feet. My only complaint was that only 2 plants came out purple. The nugs were dense and came out perfect. .I grew this indoors with the Auto Girl Scout Cookies and this is my 4th seed to harvest completed. This by far was my best run!!!

Les graines reçus ont un taux de 100% dans un towel avec tapis chauffant. Super et les plants sont forts dès le début.

Order received fairly quick and I appreciate that. Also, thank you for the complimentary seeds. The one concern that I have is that I received only 4 blackberry seeds, not 5, in the order.

Easy to grow outside. Best yield of any auto I have attempted. Smooth and tasty. Making tincture and will advise how that does.

My only disappointment with this strain is the flowering time that is described on the website. Eight weeks is way too early. You can chop it at eight weeks if you want to and it’s a beautiful plant. But if you want that extreme purple like is on the photo that you want to wait until 10 or 11 weeks. I’m growing in DWC and I flushed at 7 1/2 weeks because I was told eight weeks is the flowering time. I should have waited until 9 1/2 weeks to flush in my opinion. But it’s still a beautiful flower. It’s gorgeous. Definitely dispensary type quality bud
