These figures are ranges, not promises. Flowering time, harvest date and yield vary depending on growing conditions: the grower, the method and the season's weather. "Mold resistant" means mold tolerant: less prone to mold and slower to be affected. No strain is 100% mold resistant. How we set these numbers →
Taste & Aroma Profile

About Mandarin Fast Version
Genetics & strain profile
Mandarin Fast Version is bred by Quebec Cannabis Seeds: a 70% sativa, 30% indica hybrid with THC levels of up to 26%, built to put a sweet-citrus sativa high in a Canadian garden and have it down before the October rains. It carries our harvest from September badge. It is a newer addition and does not yet have customer reviews, so the figures below come from our own grows rather than from reviewers; its autoflower sibling, Critical Mandarin, and the regular sativas in the catalogue give an idea of the plant — bright orange terpenes on a vigorous frame. If you grow it, a review helps the next person. Our seeds are guaranteed.
How Mandarin Fast Version grows
The plants grow to a medium height — a sativa that has been tamed by its fast-version genetics — and flower in 60 to 70 days with up to 650 g/m² indoors, one of the heavier yields in the catalogue; top once and net it, because it will stretch for two weeks after the flip, and feed moderately. Outdoors, expect to harvest around September, which suits Canada and other northern climates, with up to 18 ounces per plant (about 510 g) in optimal conditions. Fast Version plants carry a small share of autoflower genetics, which is how they finish earlier than classic photoperiod plants; most are ready in September and a few reach the first week of October. The date still depends on the grower and the season — weather, a late start and stress can all move it — and stress matters more with Fast Versions because of the autoflower gene they carry: keep transplanting, topping and nutrient changes gentle, avoid light leaks, and do not let it dry out in August. Stake it early; a sativa with 18-ounce potential needs support.
Taste, aroma and effect
Citrus, sweet and tropical — mandarin and orange peel with a juicy, candy sweetness, brighter and rounder than lemon strains. The high is energizing and uplifting with a calm body: a daytime sativa that lifts the mood and keeps the hands busy without the racing edge, and at up to 26% THC strong enough to start small. For the autoflower version, see Critical Mandarin Autoflower; for other orange strains, California Orange and Mimosa; for other early-finishing sativas, Amnesia Lemon Fast Version and Moby Dick Fast Version.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does Mandarin Fast Version take to flower?
60 to 70 days. Outdoors it is typically ready in September.
How much does Mandarin Fast Version yield?
Up to 650 g/m² indoors and up to 18 ounces (about 510 g) per plant outdoors.
How strong is Mandarin Fast Version?
Up to 26% THC — strong. Start small.
How tall does Mandarin Fast Version get?
Medium height, with a two-week stretch after the flip. Top it, net it indoors, and stake it outdoors.
When does Mandarin Fast Version finish outdoors?
Usually September. Most Fast Versions are ready in September and none should run past the first week of October, but weather, a late start and stress can move the date.
What is a Fast Version cannabis seed?
A feminized strain with a small amount of autoflower genetics introduced so it finishes sooner than a classic photoperiod plant. Because it carries the autoflower gene, stress affects it more.

70% sativa, 30% indica — energizing and uplifting with a calm body.
What does Mandarin Fast Version taste like?
Sweet tropical citrus — mandarin and orange peel.
