Dream CBG is a CBG-dominant strain with very low THC: where most cannabis is bred for THC, and our CBD line for CBD, this one is selected to hold on to cannabigerol — the cannabinoid most plants convert into THC and CBD as they mature, and which is therefore rare in finished flower. It is a feminized photoperiod strain with a naturally mild character, aromatic flowers and good resin, made for growers interested in alternative cannabinoid genetics, hemp-style breeding or a non-intoxicating plant, rather than for a strong high — it should not be expected to produce one. It is one of the newest additions and does not yet have customer reviews. Because CBG content varies a good deal between phenotypes and growing conditions, laboratory testing of the finished flower is the only reliable way to know the exact cannabinoid content, and we do not quote a guaranteed percentage. How Dream CBG grows
It is a photoperiod plant: it stays in vegetative growth under long days and begins flowering as the nights lengthen, which gives an indoor grower control over its size before the flip and lets outdoor plants move into bloom naturally in late summer. It suits indoor, outdoor and greenhouse growing. Indoors, a stable environment matters more than usual, because cannabinoid expression in CBG lines follows the growing conditions; give it good ventilation, moderate feeding and room between plants as the flowers fill out. Outdoors it is listed for an October harvest, which in Quebec means a sunny, sheltered spot, an early indoor start and a frost cover for cold nights; latitude, planting date, root space and rainfall all move the finish. Feminized seeds greatly reduce the chance of male plants, though no seed line can promise identical plants. We have not yet established breeder-level height, flowering-time and yield figures for this strain and would rather not invent them; our own grow records will fill them in.
