These figures are ranges, not promises. Flowering time, harvest date and yield vary depending on growing conditions: the grower, the method and the season's weather. "Mold resistant" means mold tolerant: less prone to mold and slower to be affected. No strain is 100% mold resistant. How we set these numbers →

About Biscotti
Genetics & strain profile
Biscotti is a dessert strain from the Gelato family, bred by Quebec Cannabis Seeds from Gelato and South Florida OG. It is an indica-dominant hybrid with 25 to 30% THC and about 0.5% CBD — among the strongest strains we sell — yet it is rated easy to grow and sits in our beginner-friendly selection. The Gelato side brings the sweet, cookie-like flavour and the frosty, colourful buds; the OG side brings vigour and a spicy edge. It is a newer listing with one review so far, and it is a useful one: a grower who ran four plants under a 1,000-watt LED with a 30-day veg had them reach 4 feet in flower and harvested 10 ounces of dried, cured bud, called it “very easy to grow” and “easy to clone”, and is running four more.
How Biscotti grows
Indoors Biscotti reaches 1 to 5 feet depending on veg time — 4 feet after a 30-day veg for the reviewer above — and flowers in 8 to 10 weeks, with 400 to 550 g/m²; his 10 ounces from four plants works out to about 70 g each after a short veg, a realistic figure for a first run. It clones easily, so keeping a mother is a good way to lock in a favourite phenotype. The buds are dense and resinous, so keep airflow up and humidity moderate in the final weeks. Outdoors it grows to 5 to 8 feet and is ready around late September or early October, with 400 to 500 g per plant — an early enough finish for most of Canada, which is unusual in the Gelato family. With cool nights late in flower it colours up.
Taste, aroma and effect
Sweet and spicy — the cookie-dough, dessert-like side of its Gelato parent with a peppery, slightly diesel edge from the OG, and a smooth, creamy exhale. The effect comes on quickly with euphoria and creative energy, then settles into a comfortable relaxation that is neither too sedating nor too heady: an afternoon-into-evening strain that stays sociable. At 25 to 30% THC it is very strong, so start small. For the parent, see Gelato; for its Skunk cross, Biscotti Skunk; for the berry side of the family, Acai Jelly.
